VP of Asset Managment
Prior to joining Viking Capital, Sue founded Caryatid Multifamily Consulting, where she advised developers, owners, and investors on asset management strategy, portfolio performance, acquisitions, and complex property turnarounds. Before launching Caryatid in 2020, she spent 20 years at Trammell Crow Residential, serving most recently as Managing Director overseeing asset management for portfolios valued at up to $1.5 billion across the western United States. In this role, she led dozens of lease-ups, managed dispositions, and later transitioned into development, directing resident experience strategy, interior design, and technology sourcing for new communities.
Earlier in her career, Sue served as Vice President of Acquisitions at CWS Apartment Homes, where she placed over $50 million in equity across multiple markets. She was responsible for underwriting acquisitions, coordinating financing, leading due diligence, and negotiating purchase agreements, while maintaining an SEC Series 6 license.
Sue currently serves on advisory boards focused on innovation and technology in multifamily real estate, including Rise Buildings, Valet Living, and Flex/MICA. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Towson University and is based in Austin, Texas.
Director of Marketing
Before entering real estate and finance, Samantha spent a decade leading high-performing teams in Michelin-starred restaurants in Nashville and Miami. That experience shaped her expertise in operations, leadership under pressure, and execution at scale. She later brought this discipline to Viking Capital, where she has played a central role in expanding brand presence, supporting capital formation efforts, and elevating the investor experience through consistent, high-quality communication.
Samantha has written hundreds of articles, market reports, and educational resources designed to inform investors, reinforce underwriting discipline, and uphold the standards established by the Investor Relations team. Her work directly supports investor education, transparency, and platform growth, serving as a critical extension of Viking’s IR strategy under Chris Parrinello’s leadership.
As a speaker and thought leader, Samantha is recognized for combining operational rigor with strategic storytelling, helping investment platforms communicate with clarity, credibility, and long-term alignment.
Director of Finance
Since joining Viking just over a year ago, Kelly has helped elevate the finance and operational backbone of the business across more than 20 entities. She is a trusted partner to leadership, known for improving reliability in reporting, driving higher standards of process discipline, and solving complex financial and operational issues in a way that creates long-term structure, not temporary fixes.
Kelly works closely with Asset Management, Investor Relations, and Acquisitions to ensure financial information is consistent, timely, and decision-useful, supporting priorities such as budgeting, cash visibility, distributions, and external reporting needs. Prior to joining Viking Capital, Kelly spent over two decades in senior finance and operations leadership roles, building strong internal controls and managing performance in high-accountability environments.
